Frida Kahlo was a famous Mexican artist who was known not only for her artwork, but also for her strong character and resilience. One of the interesting stories related to Frida's self-confidence is her rehabilitation after a terrible accident.
In 1932, Kahlo was in a serious car accident that left her with serious injuries, including a broken spine and forearm bones. These injuries left her bedridden for a long time and required numerous surgeries. Her life was filled with pain, but she did not lose her strength or creative joy in this difficult situation.
The period of illness and suffering began when she sat up in bed to paint again. Despite the difficulties, Frida began to paint her face with the help of the bedroom mirror. This symbolized her struggle with her external image and her confrontation with herself.
Frida learned to work with her body and her situation. She not only experienced physical suffering, but also expressed it in her work, creating sincere and emotional self-portraits and other paintings. Her work showed a strong personal identity, and creativity became a way of expressing feelings.
This story from Frida's life shows her self-confidence and her ability to find beauty even in the darkest situations. Her resilience, creativity, and courage are truly inspiring.
Our new Fridas, although drowned in cigarette smoke, are still just as determined, patient, and brave.

Today's inspiration is Giuseppe Arcimboldo. A Milanese artist from the early 16th century. Five hundred years ago, people were fascinated by the idea of making faces out of fruits, vegetables, flowers, or other objects.
Today I was thinking about the flow of time. It is strange that the time we understand is usually divided into four stages. A day consists of morning, day, evening and night. Years are spring, summer, autumn and winter. Human life is childhood, youth, maturity and old age.
And these four stages of time seem to have their own equivalents. For example, morning is childhood and spring. And winter resembles night and old age.
Look at these four men and four women. Maybe you'll recognize yourself in some of them today, yesterday, and tomorrow?
